Village School Visits + Announcement

Last month, I shared Elijah’s story of his schooling experience at Mbowura’s village school and how he is currently a first year University student. Thank you for your encouraging messages and prayers for him!

This month, I had the privilege of visiting the village schools and communities of Mbowura and Suburini.

I am always humbled and blessed by the people I meet with whenever I visit the Village School ministry communities. Please be praying for all our school ministry locations, as the realities of poverty and the lack of resources is a constant challenge. I have to admit that I feel pretty helpless most of the time when I see the physical needs of the communities. The needs are all around, everywhere I go. I feel like God has been reminding me to be patient in the process, and above all, dependent on His provision and leadership. Ultimately, our Father is the God of compassion and He cares for the needs of His people more than we can even begin to understand.

In other news, I’m happy to announce my engagement to Enoch Jabab! We are so thankful for all the ways God has divinely brought us together. In many ways, Enoch and I have grown up together over the last twelve years  as we served alongside each other in ECG ministries. I can’t thank God enough for the blessing He has given me through my future husband to be!
