Last Update before Mat Leave
I will be formally going on maternity leave in mid-June as we await our baby’s arrival (due date is end of June.)
We are so grateful to everyone who has/is financially supporting our ministry. During my maternity leave, I’ll be eligible for government EI support as well as a 10-week top-up from our ministry account with CIM Ministries. I intend on returning to full-time ministry in Ghana some time in mid 2024.
During this time you may choose to stop your monthly contributions, continue donating on a monthly basis to our ministry account, or you may choose to redirect your giving to the CIM General Fund or Ghana specific ministries. We would be so grateful to have you continue your giving towards CIM and the Evangelical Church of Ghana ministries. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
Enoch’s Visa Update
Thank you for praying with us regarding Enoch’s pending visitor’s visa application approval. Though it has been a frustrating process with the ever-increasing IRCC processing times, we are still trusting God for His provision and guidance over our family.
Our heart’s desire is for Enoch’s visa to be granted in time for our daughter’s birth in June. In this best case scenario, I would likely return to Ghana with our daughter in January 2024 when she is around 6 months old. However, in the case that Enoch’s visa is not approved this year, we will make plans for our return to Ghana earlier so that we can be together as a family sooner. Please continue to pray for God’s provision for our family.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity towards us. Whether it is through your words of encouragement, prayer support or to the many families who are lending us numerous baby items, bassinets, car seats, maternity items and even vehicles while I’m in Canada…I can’t express my gratitude for the support I feel from my community here. God has provided more than we could even ask for and we are truly blessed!
God bless you,
Janice & Enoch Jabab
